Active-probe AFM across applications
AFM for industrial integration
Integrating conventional AFM into industrial equipment is often limited by complex probe handling, manual calibration and bulky measurement heads. nano analytik addresses these challenges with a compact, modular AFM architecture based on active cantilevers, enabling flexible integration into customer equipment and space-constrained environments. With adaptable hardware and software integration via API, the AFM can be operated directly from a host application for automated nanoscale surface metrology.
Compact architecture
Active cantilevers enable a compact, integration-ready AFM head.
Plug-and-play probes
Electrical sensing and actuation simplify probe handling and reduce setup complexity.
API control
Connect AFM functions directly to customer software and automated process workflows.
Flexible integration
Modular hardware and software architecture support customer-specific workflows.
Remote AFM operation can be integrated directly into host software through
standard JSON commands over WebSocket. This allows AFM measurement control,
data acquisition and processing to become part of the customer’s automated
equipment and workflow software.
The host application can control the AFM centrally together with the surrounding equipment, allowing measurement functions to be incorporated directly into an existing process sequence. API commands provide access to the same AFM control functions used through the graphical user interface, helping maintain consistent system behavior whether the instrument is operated manually or through an automated workflow.
