Ultra-Low Noise Performance achieved

As a result of in-depth investigations, nano analytik GmbH achieved significant improvement in the active cantilever noise (cantilever thermomechanical noise and electronics noise), setting the detection floor and sensitivity in the range of 60 pm. Artifacts such as feedback noise, damping, electronics and cabling noise, and temperature and vibration fluctuations cause slow drifts that affect image quality and can introduce artifacts, especially at low signal levels. The new Omega active cantilevers deliver performance comparable to Optical Beam Deflection without compromises, satisfying demanding customers.
