2023: CiS Workshop – Analytics and Measurement

On 06.06.2023, nano analytik GmbH attended the workshop “Analytics and Measurement”, hosted by CiS Forschungsinstitut für Mikrosensorik GmbH in Erfurt, Germany. The workshop is an exchange platform between analysts, researchers, and developers from academia and industry to share and exchange ideas and the latest development of sophisticated new sensors and materials.

At the workshop, the nano analytik GmbH presented their latest product of active cantilever: the omega cantilever. This active cantilever increases the sensitivity of the active cantilever by up to 300%. As a result, the atomic force microscope (AFM) measurement achieved a resolution in pm scale. Additionally, nano analytik GmbH displayed its compact and portable AFM, the nanoMETRONOM, in the workshop. Operation of the AFM and measurements are live demonstrated. The workshop attendees are fascinated by the compactness of the system and the easiness of the cantilever replacement mechanism. Some of them also tried to operate the measurement and replaced the cantilever, which can be done easily in seconds.
